Wassup, Guys?

I don't really have a lot to say except that the "n" button on my keyboard is sticky and won't type until you've pressed it, like, ten million times. Ugh.
And what happened to my followers? I used to have 35, now 32? Geez, you guys are dropping like flies. Invite your friends, peeps, if you think they'd be interested.
Oh, how do you all like the backround music? Steph's learning the cello part. We're all so proud.

And Kendra wanted a picture of Steph's eye? Here you go, they're grey, but you can't really tell in this picture. They kind of reflect any color put in front of them. In this case, blue.

Today is Father's Day, so I guess I could remanise on my father and the one that's filling in for the empty spot.
So...my dad. I would say he is doing a pretty sucky job. Like, I haven't seen him in years. Seven (almost eight) years, to be exact. It's kind of hard to imagine what a father could be like. I grew up with him never being there, having only the picture on the wall in my mom's room to remember him by. My mom really loved him, but I don't think he loved her back. They fought a lot when he came home, and he went to prison for physical assult charges for two years after I turned five. He drank a lot, was drunk all the time, carelessly spent money, all kinds of crap.
(This next part my mother told me this when I was nine and she explained the miricle of life (>_<)) : When my mom told him that she was pregnant with his baby (again), he'd yelled at her demanding why she was with another man while he was gone. He said there was no possible way that it was his. And then when my sister was born, he acted like a baby girl was the worst thing that had ever happened to him (being he was from somewhere in the middle east). I was the only reason he'd stayed when my mom had me, but now he was furious. He left the next morning after her birth and didn't come back for a year and a half. When he did he begged my mom for forgiveness so she'd take him back in again (probably because he was broke), which she did. He stayed for three and a half more years, coming and going as he pleased -- gone sometimes for months -- and then finally left again when I was seven. He never came back. My mom said that she'd kicked him out, but I think he really just went back to Israel, or wherever he came from. Two years later, my sister was diagnosed with cancer, and my mom couldn't pay medical or house bills anymore, so we went into foster care so that someone else -- someone more responsible -- could take care of us. I haven't seen my mom since then.
I was nine years old.
Now five years later, I have a great family that I'm staying with. A family that loves me and wants me.
Blake is a great dad. We go golfing and with Jenn we play football in the backyard. We sometimes go fishing in the pond behind our house and just talk about guy things. He's told me that he loves me, and he wishes that he'd had a son like me for a long time, and now he does. He says that he's proud of what I do with my music, my guitar, my voice. He likes my personality, and he thinks I'm a good guy for his daughter, just the guy that he'd hoped she'd have.
What I've learned is that my father, the biological one, wasn't my dad. Blake is what I've always yearned for, that sort of fatherly love. I couldn't ask for more.
Happy Father's Day, Blake. Thank you.
Your son,
Seth

St. Patrick's Day Dillema ([jenn] ha! seth can't spell that word! [seth] shut up!)

Okay. So today was St. Patrick's Day.
Only problem with that: I don't wear green.
So, like, people would go around pinching me, and I had to kick a few shins, but eventually people stopped pinching because I said I was Irish. Which was a total lie, because I totally don't know where my bloodlines run, but anyway.
Then in art, Flashman had rigged an email from Jenn's Drama teacher saying that she was allowed in this class period because of some project, and had rigged an email from our Art teacher to the Drama teacher, ect.
Long story short, Jenn streaks into the Art room after fifteen minutes with a box of markers and tackles me to the ground, then starts scribbling all over my face with a green one. So I finally manage to wrestle the marker out of her hands and get her off me, then I proceed to attack her back with the same one, when Flashman all of the sudden gets really mad and grabs a fistfull of green markers from a bin labeled "green". Then all of the sudden they're both on me, and the whole class is just watching in histarics as the emo kid who sits in the back is getting covered in bright green colors all over his face and arms.
Oh, and Jenn wrote "I love Jenn" on my arm. Garr.
And then Flashman scribbled that out and wrote "Death to Seth" under it.
Then Jenn grins at Alex and with a clean swipe of her arm, puts a single streak of grass-green ink across his forhead. Flash tackles her to the ground, and by the time I get over there, he's got his lips plastered on hers and she's trying to shove him off.
So of course, I attack him, and we all get sent to the office. And then Blake and Sasha show up to take us home because that was the last class of the day, and Blake demanded to know why I did what I did.
I'm like, "Uh...Alex was kissing Jenn?"

Haha.

(P.S., Flash, this isn't over.)

I Just Threatened Jenn's Life

So I don't think that she's ever going to get on again. Or, we should hope.
I actually ran after her and pulled her down to the ground and threatened to kill her if she did it again. She just looked at me and told me that I'd never do that. I said I would, and squeezed the pressure point on her neck and she screamed until she promised not to as long as i'd LET GO!!!

So I did.

Anyhow, I changed my password.

So...apparently Jenn thinks I like her. Well, I don't. And I also think it's weird she called me 'hot'. I mean, isn't that a really strange word to use on your foster brother? I dunno about you, but I think so.

Frick, school tomorrow. And then Christmas. Joy. More reletives.

Thanksgiving

Weird, i'm watching Samantha Who? right now. Jenn and I were just watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Ah, so many great memories.
Wow. Pictionary-Man-Game. Gah! Stupid commercials! Gah! Oh, wow, and soap operas.

So basically, everything was normal until the doorbell rang on Wednesday. I hid in the hallway, and Sasha called everyone into the entryway, and there was my new aunt, uncle, and cousins. Aunt Katie, Uncle Brad, Cousins Zakk and Zibber (twins, looking kinda emo at 14 1/2), and their older brother Tristan ( who was totally normal looking at 16).
"Hey! How are you guys?" Sasha asked.
"We're great," Brad said, rubbing Zibber's back with his arm not carrying luggage.
Zakk snickered, and Zibber elbowed him.
"Did you guys get a foster kid? Aunt Sasha said that you guys were--" Zibber asked, chipper.
Blake piped up from behind me, "Here! he is," he said, pulling me by the arm out of the hallway.
"This is Seth!" Jenn said.
Katie held out her hand to shake, and i reluctantly shook it.
Tristan smiled. "Welcome to the famil--hey...have you adopted him yet?" he asked me at first, then Blake.
Blake shook his head.
Tristan just kinda from Blake to me to Blake to me. "Er...welcome."

The rest of the night was a drag. I don't wanna tell you about it. Oh! And then the old folks arrived. Grandma and Grandpa Blackmore! Yeah! But Maama and Papi were really nice. They kinda got me away from the emo-twin-kles. Zibber even asked me if i was goth too. I just looked at her and said, "Nooo."

Thanksgiving dinner was awkward. Then we went around the table and said what we were all thankful for.
We started with Tristan and went around the table.

Tristan is thankful for: His girlfriend, his dog, and his family.
Zibber is thankful for: Zakk, the color black, and masquara.
Zakk said nothing.
Aunt Katie is thankful for: Her family, a good job, and for God's love.
Uncle Brad is thankful for: His beautiful kids, his wonderful, lovely wife, and a great job.
Blake is thankful for: His wife Sasha, his beautiful daughter Jenn, and that God has blessed him with his new son Seth.
Sasha is thankful for: Her loving husband, her beautiful daughter Jenn, and her new son Seth.
Jenn is thankful for: Her parents, her new brother, and for this wonderful dinner that Katie and Sasha made.
"Seth, what are you thankful for?" Blake asked, all teary from the touching thankful moment.
"Er...um...i'm thank...full...for...a...house? to stay in?...A family...to...stay with?" I thought for another moment while the gang waited. "...and for...um...," I looked down at my plate, "and um...spoons!"
Everyone nodded solumbly, and then Zakk burst out lauging. "Oh. My. God." he said.
Well that was three more words than he'd said all day.

The rest of the time we were eating turkey. Everyone knowing everyone, except for me, and then they were always mentioning things and people that I didn't know about because I wasn't part of this freaking family.

Then they left a few days later. I. Am. So. happy.

Ovah,

Seth

Snood. Know Thy Turkey.

In the holiday spirit, we'll all be eating turkey, shortly. I just thought I'd inform you on what was on what your eating XD

Snood:
The snood is a fleshy appendage that attaches just above the beak. When the tom relaxes, the snood is short — maybe half an inch long. When the tom struts, the snood engorges with blood and extends to hang down over the beak. According to the National Wild Turkey Federation, the snood has no known function.

Happy Snood Day,
The Shepherds (wait, there's only one of me...)

[chocolate chip] Banana Bread and Nobama

Okay, so I actually made banana bread yesterday. It was reeeaaally good. And I saw chocolate chips in the cubbard, so i threw them into the mix, so it was beyond my normal expectations. Jenn came down to see what I was doing and was like, "OMG, Seth, what are you doing? Did you tell M--Sasha that your doing that? She's gonna freaking kill you!"
"Muhsasha?" I smirked, licking batter off my finger, laughing silently at my quoting.
She groaned at me, and went over to the phone that was ringing. "Hello?"
I chuckled again, and grabbed a spoon and dipped it in the banana gook.
"No, she's busy at the momennnthSEGPH!" she growled with her mouth full of, ahem, thpoon. Hahaha.
She grabbed at me, and I nimbly dodged out of the way. She threw her thpoon at at me and got saliva-batter on me.
When she finally hung up the phone she walked over to where I was putting flour in a pan.
"That was good," she said, peeking over my shoulder. "Hey, but you could probably have done without the chocolate chips."
I threw flour at her without looking.
She shrieked and hit me upside the head.
"Hey!" I said, and hit her back. "Leave me alone, critic."
"Mmkay," she said, licking a finger.
I turned back to my cooking, and poured the batter into a pan.

Moral of the story: Always make your banana bread with chocolate chips.

Oh, and then I ran back after I put it in the oven and screamed "NOBAMA!" in her ear.

I Have Been Denied Food, Yet Again

I caught Sasha in the kitchen making bundt cake, and when i tried to steal a slice she told me it was for Thanksgiving and that her side of the family was coming over. I told her, "Great," with mucho enthusiasm, and she told me to go find Jenn for her.
Great, so my foster-extended-family is coming over? This should be fun.

I helped Jenn make a model of DNA. She had to for homework because she chose the homework presentation as 'model' instead of 'paper' like I did.
So basically, I made a model of DNA while Jenn messed around with plastic beads for an hour. When I finished, she told me "Thank you," for the idea, and ran off to show Sasha what 'we' made. I counted to ten silently and tried not to kick a wall.

Oh, and I did that again yesterday, and Blake took away my CD collection again because he finds this affective for disapline.

Jenn ran into my room and told me that we were going to go see Twilight in two weeks. When I asked to define 'we' she told me it'd be me, Sam, and her. Fun. And then I read a book for three hours on the couch downstairs without even stopping to eat or pee. Haha, I impressed myself. Finally.

I think i'll make myself some banana bread tomorrow.
